Gamma-Ray
Gamma-ray scintillometers and spectrometers measure the total intensity of gamma radiation. Spectrometers have the added advantage of determining the concentration of Potassium (K), Uranium (U), and Thorium (Th).
Infrared
Infrared spectrometers measure the reflection and absorption of infrared waveforms when directed towards a rock sample for mineral identification and analysis.
